As part of PIXEL, I challenge myself with these prompts as a chance to practice my visual design eye. I create these designs in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

Some of these were done during “design sprints” in which you have an hour to brainstorm, sketch, and create a design. This helps me speed up my process and focus on the big picture. Others were done in longer periods so I had more time to plan and execute. I enjoy my work as part of PIXEL and they keep me connected with other designers and creatives in the field.

Overview

This is a collection of various graphic designs I created while in the graphic design club PIXEL.

‍PIXEL is a professional resource for students interested in visual communications; they have hosted workshops and skill-building sessions since 2005. They post monthly creative prompts for their members to practice their design skills in many media, from postcards to phone cases.
